This exam consists of approximetly 50-60 questions and last 1,5 hour. You can pass the exam in English and Japanese language.

This is an eligible exam for CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional). If you pass 642-845 test you would prove that your knowledge and skills are adequate to implement successfully QOS technology within the network.

During this exam you may expect questions from VOIP and QOS networks, IP and QOS structure, security and sphere of wireless. You should be able to indicate primary voice network elements like Gateways and similar ones). In the sphere of QoS methodology you need to classify and configure Network Based Application Recognition and be able to interpret special mechanisms (example: WRED, WRR etc.)

We also recommend you to acquaint with traffic processes and classification of the QoS. It would be also beneficial to learn something about Auto QoS (basic functionality and processes, specifications of the wireless networks - WCS etc. and verification and troubleshooting of the Auto QoS processes). You may also expect some questions connected with security of WLANs (description and configuration of wireless networks and protocols etc.)
