The Campus Network can be called as an enterprise network and consists of with a structure or a group of structures that are connected to one common network.

The important thing in using campus networks is to run them in more effective way. Administrators of these networks have lots of things to do in reference to traditional and new requirements for creating campus internetworks (connection of some campuses).

The current networks have also lots of limitations and restrictions so we must learn and take advantage of the new and emerging campus networks. We must also remember about new technologies during designing of the new networks.

Worth mentioning is implementation of the Ethernet and combine it with diffrent levels of the layers (between 2 and 4 layers) of the switching technology. When you creating campus network you should include Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and MLS (Multi Layer Switching) that will help you to work in more efficient way.
